Quidam- Cirque Du Soleil

Date: December 11, 2010 - December 14, 2010
Location: KRC

Cirque du Soleil is pleased to announce that its newest arena show, Quidam, will kick off  its North American tour in Kingston.  Quidam will perform from December 11 - 14, 2010 at the KRC for six performances only.

Quidam is a nameless passer-by, a solitary figure lingering on a street corner, a person rushing past. It could be anyone or anybody; someone coming, going, living in our anonymous society; a member of the crowd, one of the silent majorities; the one who cries out, sings and dreams within us all. This is the "quidam" that Cirque du Soleil is celebrating.

Great Big Sea

Date: November 27, 2010
Time: 8 pm
Location: The KRC

While music fashions come and go, Great Big Sea has continued to build audiences across the continent. A hard working approach to touring and performance, along with a genuine love for the music they perform, has kept the band growing, despite being pretty much immune to musical fashions. Numerous side projects, from Doyle’s acting and soundtrack work to McCann’s solo projects to Hallett’s writing keep them busy when they aren’t touring with the band. While some groups might bristle at these distractions, for Great Big Sea it is just fuel to the fire that drives their artistry.

Don’t miss Great Big Sea at K-Rock Centre in Kingston on November 27th!!
